Where can I catch more crabs, winchester or newport. |

Well that is a good question. I am trying to answer from Kentucky. Not sure where either place is. I recommend you try going to www.1fghp.com/or.html There I have a listing for a fishing guide who you might hire. IN the long run hiring a guide may actually save you time and money and you may pick up a few of his secrets. I can tell you that winchester is harder to crab since there are alot of commercial crabbers out of there. We always liked Newport. But if you want an enjoyable easy to crab ocean or bay try the mouth of the Siuslaw River in florence. They have a great dock and it is generally not that crowded. Mostly dungeness some rock crab. |
