well I can honestly say no offence but I am strongly opposed to tupperwear cars! and I am not in an attempt to compensate for anythin the 350 z WAS rated the number one car in north american and as sauce said her mom and dad didnt even want to give it back! Another reason I want a car like a 350 is because of the pathtic kids that pull up along side u in their honda civic or acura integra and then start revin the engine like they are from fast and furious! a saturn just isnt fast enuff to make them look bad lol JK I am just a a HUGE nissan/datsun guy and the 350 isnt just an awsome car its a lil bit of history as well if u followed the Z cars! and yes I do agree with the escalade comments sauce got me thinkin bout the gas consumption the other day! its the same estimated gast cost for a year as the 2003 dodge viper sr-t theres a problem there!!! lol so I am thinkin small , fast ,good on gas car... so what do ya think ppl?? p.s. who hinks a custom tartan pain job would look good OR gettin a yellow car with the lion ramapart pearled in red paint?? MMMMMM and a tartan interior? lol |

nah, it's not about RACING. when they pull up to you i your tupperware car, turn up your 50,000 watt stereo, and turn their civic into a giant tuning fork. vibrate the meat right off their bones. |

well...had a chat with my dad, he wrinkled his nose up at the mitsubishi, not a very solid car, as you know, loved the 350Z but said the best car out of the group was the infiniti somethingerather G...i forget the numbers. it's the sedan though...i know, sedan...but he says it KICKS. if you had a ton of money...i'd say go for a BMW...NOTHING even comes close to those cars. you can get one for $35,000 these days too...not bad. as far as racing goes...ABSOLUTELY NOTHING compares to my kick ass former little beemer. the car i learned to drive on was my dad's ex-race car (yes, i'm going to ramble about my car like i do my horse...i love it almost as much). since it was an ex-race car, it wasn't exactly...factory...ya know? lol BUT, the little punks in their honda's and acuras (which are good solid cheap cars in their own right...seriously) and start reving their engines at the beemer (whose emblems had been stolen and it had a "tad" of rust on it...come on, it had a rough life, it got smashed into a cement wall...twice...in the same race) and were laughing at it. being the attitudily challenged b**ch that i was when driving my car, i pulled down my sunglasses, turned up my nose...and BLEW them away as soon as the light turned green. now i'm going to go off in a corner and cry...i miss my car. peace... |

EEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!! NO muscles cars...i went to school in acton...they are SOOOOOO not attractive. my friend ken had a '60 camero...he used to MAKE me go driving with him...uuhhhh. NOT a fan. in my opinion...classy cars with not much done to them...are the sexiest car. don't buy a cheap car and try to make it good...ya know? my BMW was a 1991 318is...i don't know what mods were done to it, i'm pretty sure my dad doesn't remember anymore either...he just drove it, his mechanic team did the rest. :) the only downside about beemers, is that they are expensive to fix because they are german and such. but they'll last FOREVER if you take car of them. if you've never driven one...you have NO idea what you're in for. even driving my sh*tty yet kick ass little one...felt like no other car. they're just SO solid feeling and...well...i can't describe it...*takes a minutes...calms down*...lol. ANYWAY, my point is...you don't need to do anything to a beemer to make it cool...it just IS. as for being a racer...i only am when i that car...NO ONE looks at my car the wrong way...i'll kick your ass. lol peace... |

BUDDS BMW IT IS!! and why did u get rid of the bmw if u love it so much????? what r u driving now? and my sunfire would kick ur BMWs bum...............ok that was a lie.......... so think it would be worth goin and takin a 3 and 5 series bme for a spin??? |

Sauce, you sassy sassy beast, I never knew that you had a soft spot in your heart for cars! I am a huge car lover! I do disagree that muscle cars are ugly, but based on personal experience, I can see why you would be anti. My dream is to rebuild a Mazda RX 7,you know all I need now is a general knowlege of cars and I'd be stylin'. I drive a Mazda Miata now and race anyone at a stop light. It cracks me up when some kid in a Volvo starts revin' his engine like a bad ass. Oh well, just smoke em' and move on right? |

How about buying a car that is cheap, will get you to wherever you want to get with a good mileage that on the side will not pollute the environment as much either and just not give a crap about the punks with their Civics and Acuras? Just a suggestion. |

hehe...i love beemers. your dad rocks bean. kevin, i......didn't get ride of it...it died. well, not really. the steering rack went and my parents don't really want to pay for another one and i can't afford it right now. the body needs major work as well. i DO have someone (the guy who recorded the live album and such...my neighbour) who said he'd do it all for CHEAP. SO, if i buy and sell this horse i'm looking at...i may have the $$$ to fix it. it's sitting in my driveway right now...some courier wanted to buy it today and my mom was TRYING to say it was for sale...but i wouldn't let her. HA! i would say definitely go check out the 3 and 5 series...but you already have! i'm partial to the 3 series...but hey. the 330 is a great car and isn't THAT expensive! :) gazsi, that's the beauty of BMWs...they have good mileage, are great, reliable, fast, sassy cars which take premium fuel, which although more expensive, it cleaner! so you get the best of every world! i lot of cheap cars are actually harder on the environment that more expensive ones. hehe darcey, i love cars too...but how could i not with my dad being a automotive journalist, race car driver and HUGE car buff in general. :) i have nothing against people who like muscle cars...i've just been around TOO many actionites with their mullets and 80s hair metal for too long. :) miatas are great little cars! my mom LOVES them...she's about as small as you and chandra so they fit her well! lol and exactly, we don't NEED to rev our engines at stop lights to be cool, we just ARE...and blow people away. :) peace... |

thanks very much for the suggestiuon but the element just isnt exactly what I am lookin for, the only suv/truck I would buy would be the escalade EXT other then that I am lookin for a lil fast car...being 20 I am allowed to make unresposable decision on cars!! hehehe I have no plans on havin a family to drive around so I want my lil proze car for a few years while I am young! Thank you tho the element DOES look like quite the car if thats ur market plus its gonna keep the value as do all hondas! |

Sorry for the late input on this, but I just had to defend muscle cars. Some of them are sooo classic. I'm not talking about the smokey and the bandit muscle cars. ugh please, but an old convertible goat, (powder blue, or pale yellow). that is my dream car. I hate camaro's, firebirds, and trans-ams, but the 1967 camaro was a cool car with plenty of umph. what about the 1971 chevelle or an old mustang. I drive a '99 convertible mustang w/v8 engine (a small chip has been added as a mod), and love it, My boyfriend thought of it as a chick car until the chip had been added. Now he can't wait to take it out. The new ones are even nicer. Nothing beats a convertible. |

I know - I'm jumping on board a little late but I just had to throw in my $.02. I'm a big car girl (born and raised in the MotorCity baby - Detroit for those not in the know). I could talk forever about this subject but to keep it short, I've been in a lot of rides and several races. I plan on racing in the SCCA ProRally within two years in a Subaru WRX STi or a Lancer Evo (we'll see what the 2 cars develope into over the next year or so). Street racing is fun (I'll refrain from knocking the rice rockets and sticker racers at this point) but my heart really goes out to the classic American muscle cars. Last night I was out crusing Gratiot (the place for any and every car fanatic to cruise Saturday nights in Detroit), and we were in my friend's '70 Olds 442 with the 454. Pullin' up to lights with some punks rollin up in their daddie's Vette's, Stangs, and the like was so much fun. The light would change and we'd leave them smelling rubber. The car had so much pull right off the start those kids didn't know what to do. Heh - even the cop who pulled up over shortly thereafter for squeling tires gave us made props for the car and told us where to go if we really wanted to have some fun. Oh - and as for the tartan paint job, my heart would flutter at the site and I may even get weak in the knees. Do it up and send me pics! |
