see that may be the case , but rules is rules and of course if the same(now its getting daft) was to happen to you , you of course would take the moral high ground and turn it down, i dont think so .we're there ,we have proved ourselves more than worthy of a place and lets face it you bunch of scummers are never likely to so you wont have to really concern yourselves with that |

When we do it,we will do it as champions. Something you have never been familiar with,I believe. As ever the Shrimps prefer the back door option.......... |

We have been champions, my friend. I'll give you 7th at best this season and that's generous. If by some miracle you get in the play-offs you will fail anyway. |

Just out of interest?! I'm surprised it's taken a Shrimp that long to lose it!!!!! Unibond Division 1 Champions 95-96 season. Not much to an arrogant Shrimp but nontheless - CHAMPIONS. All right, Morecambe did beat Dartford 2-1 to win the Trophy in 1974 which in itself is a commendable accolade but,come on. There is nothing more satisfying than having the prestige of the words 'League Champions' on yer CV, I don't care what level it's at. |

1924-25 League Champions 1961-62 League champions, Lancashire Junior Cup winners, 3-1 over arch rivals Wigan Athletic, in front of 8,000 spectators at Deepdale. 3rd round of the FA Cup, winning 1-0 at Chester (R2) before losing 0-1 to Weymouth at Christie Park in front of a record 9,234 1966-67 League and Combination Cup 1968-69 League Champs, Combination Cup and THE ONLY NON-LEAGUE TEAM to win the Lancs Senior Cup. See? We've won a few leagues in our time! |

"you haven't got 'league champions' on your CV in the last six years" That would really tie it up! ;-) I hope when we play you we aren't suffering our usual 'post FA Cup' hangover, what with playing Ipswich the Saturday before, did you know we are still in the FA Cup? |
