i dont think there is an ending. or at least, if there is, its something like da da da da.... hmmm. or not. though i know its finger, thumb, arm, leg...and it could be extended to neck, ankle, or any other body extremity if you so wish...???!!! maybe i shouldnt have prompted that thought... hope none of you are also thinking it - i dont want to ruin my image.... erm, sorry for the bizarreness - v.bored and a free to kill (heh heh heh...) brutal huh? the good thing 'bout this msg board is that everyone is as odd, if not more so, as me, so i can be weird and not worry too much. hmm. cant think of nothing to say, cept that isnt inherently the best word ever? (though perhaps it doesnt outdo bleb...) i propose a word of the week page....... (so no doubt that will never happen now..!?!?!) sporadical is still cool as well, and antithesis. not to mention eclectic. hee hee. by the by, not just showing off my vocab as no doubt aimee would claim, coz i dont actually understand what any of them mean... (not sure what that proves...)are you impressed - i have managed to go from 1 finger to random vocab (or lack of it...) not that anyone sane actually reads this, so i dont really know who im talking to right now. oh well.will no doubt ttyas (or at least some of you...even i have my limits....)kate xxx |

ooooh now, even though it was a suggestion from kate we could actually use that rather cunning idea (clearly, she stole it from somewhere) we could have a cool word page (how exciting would that be- a list of words oooooh oooooh the excitement!!) we'd have... eclectic, sporadical, antithetical, inherently, phlegmatic, bleb, psittacine... open to suggestions- maybe when dav's feeling peckish she'll chew another lump out her dictionary and enlighten us! |

Actually, I think it's kinda cute...in an eclectic sorta way ;) I know, I really don't know what that word means, but surely it works in that context?! thanks kate for enlightening me...although I did mean, what goes after "1 finger one thumb (etc) keep moving ........." or does it not go any further? I also sympathise with miris worries ... may I however suggest 'pseudopodium' and 'procrastinating' thanks! |

was going to add pseudopodium but as its medical.... kinda random!! will allow procrastinating and its derrogatives (is that the word i mean?? im not v.good with words today!!) anyway, i will update tall ships page AS SOON AS THIS %&(^(*& ASSEMBLY, UCAS, GEOG ENQUIRY, GEOG ESSAY... WHAT HAVE I STARTED........???? ARGH.(but to answer the question, i really dont think there is a next bit and can we include archetype purlease. (no idea where the we came from...bored again.) grunt (zena style) - she's sooooo famous. i did it again you know, on the coach. not that you were near enough to hear it aimee, on account of running off and being a loner.... ha ha. hmmm. think the best thing to do now would be to go sleep (still soggy though) good luck for tom's assembly - will no doubt laugh lots, though whether that will be with or at remains to be seen...k xx |

Kate: I think you regret bringing up the cool words thing, and I regret mentionning 1 finger 1 thumb...(what a strange thing to say...)however, may I recommend the word, pseudomorph to add to my list of ps words. Also, sorry to totally upset the whole "wow i can do lots of long syllable words..." but I would also like to nominate 'zoom'. This dynamic and dimensional word is worthy of a mention on this worthy msg. |

2 things... well 3. 1) davina- i think we get that you're no longer travelling-you're home, we're all very well aware of the fact so please change your name. 2) i did used to be a nice young lady (!) i think its your influence dav thats made me funny/silly/weird... and 3) lol at your song... Can I just say that Dav you are SO not over Mr A's departure. You can't bring him back by singing his song you know - he's far too busy having a gay time with all those sexy Harrow (rude) boys. Well if miss sensibilty (erm..nat) had replied to my plea for the words to the song earlier, all these maniacly mad msgs may not have appeared...good or bad?? I think you'll find Davina Law that the expression you were looking to use in your defence was that you were never UNDER him, hence not being able to be over him... we never suggested anything like you would be on him... I think there is something of your guilt?? surfacing here mon amie!! |

ROFCSWLOL!!!! see if u can work that one out abbreviation fans!! wow aimee, you didnt happen to stumble across this whilst on a trip down memory lane eh?? This is a very funny msg board, what were we on??!?! I actually cracked up when reading my lemon puff suggestion....as in a did an actual ha ha ha out loud - as in a nat-esque cackle. I particularly like the sporadic appearances from our slightly sane-er friends, namely miri, nic and kate, I can totally sympathise with any worrying thoughts you may have had when reading the msgs. Also, aimee, round about 20/9/00, you were very pro-atkins that time....interesting....So in conclusion, it goes, "1 finger one thumb keep moving x 2, we'll all be merry and....bright (??) , 1 finger 1 thumb 1 arm keep moving ...etc....contd with 1 finger 1 thumb 1 arm one leg one shake of the toe (??) etc.... I have a feeling it continues with like turning around and touching the grd....will have to check that one with any 3/4 yr old kids I see.....This is getting rather long...but, more variations on the theme?!?!? I think we've nearly exhausted it... |

right... i think we can succesfully round up this thread thanks to kate and the tweenies (hey- you could be a band!) so... here goes... if i get this wrong its because davina told me, who was told by kate, who heard it on the tweenies... so i take no responsibility... one finger, one thumb, one arm, one leg, one nod of the head, (NO shake of the toe) stand up, sit down, keep moving, we'll all be merry and bright... ?! *phew* still prefer our versions! |
