Hello. I'm learning that my ancestors are from the Abenaki Tribes of Canada. Past Grandfather names are Jan-Batist Nudenans -1770- ( who I am told appeared on the cover of the first published book in the Abenaki Language),Jean-Baptiste Denis (alia) Jean-Baptiste Danis, and a son of his by the same name. If anyone finds this common to their past. I would greatly appreciate any info. Thanks |

My GGG grandfatehr was JB Danis ( b. 1820) from Ste. Scholastique, Qc. His wife's maiden name was Lacombe. This family also goes back to Honore Danis-Tourangeau. Send me an email and we can chat. I am interested in exploring the Metis roots. |

Hello, My mother's mother was Corona Marie Danis of Quebec. She married Edmond Gallant and moved to Biddeford Maine, USA. She was one of 13? children. Anyone who knows her relatives, please reply to hartsue@hotmail.com. thank you! |
