Hello. we are dissatisfied with the education provided by the public school system. Our child has CP and is developmentally delayed. He is unable to walk or talk. In school he basically only receives therapy which he can get at home in his familiar environment. The middle school environment is too stressfull for him. How do we go about setup a homeschooling program for him? We would like to start homeschooling him in January 2003 instead of sending him back to public school.We will be thankful for any information you give. Thank you for this website.Lynn Richmond, VA |

I have an 8yr. old daughter with cp. The public school is doing nothing for my daughter. She is suppose to be getting therapy. They only scheduled her 30min. a year. She should be getting alot more. Instead of her progressing she is regressing. During the summer I taught her alot and worked with her constaly. Since she started school I haven't seen any more progress. She has forgotten what I taught her. What should I do and how should I do it to get her homeschooling instead? |
