The mutual sharing of ideas is what makes us stronger as people and more steadfast in our beliefs. The open-minded debate of issues can only culminate in both parties being right. Any discussion? I guess maybe I ought to get some people to come here first. |

I have made an enormous amount of progress since jr.high, high school and college. Only by sharing ideas openmindedly and being able to find information on a multitude of subjects have I been able to find out more about who I am and who I would like to be. We need to live in the moment. no one can do this all the time but remembering to do it part of the time can bring peace in the most troubling of times. |

Western society today has not taught us to SHARE. It teaches us to be individualistic, successful, competetive and money hungry. For most of us the win-win situation is something unattainable. And yet, collaboration and sharing is the only way to truly win. In unity there is strength. Together we can work to make a better tomorrow for both of us, for all of us. Why is it that when I know I cannot survive without you (any you) I still try to pull away and go my own way? Individualism is fine, and any collaboration must allow leeway for individual expression, ideas and creativity, yet too often these ideas and creativity will not bear fruit unless someone else helps the individual build his or her project. Collaboration is the only way to truly progress. Amalia http://www.talentgrid.com Great books, terrific talents |

Our country was founded on, in part, God and the Christian religion. We were taught to fear God and those who were in higher spiritual power. When they finally took religion out of the schools they took away the one major belirf system. But it wasn't exactly teaching us to live peacefully. I believe we shou;d have religion in the schools, but not just one. We should learn of them all, or at least most. This would help alleviate the racism and ignorance that plagues our people today. The Christians will not hear of this though Because if the children are able to see other ways and not just the way of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit, sooo many of Gods children will be lost to the Evils of the devil. I do not believe in God anymore. I have finally been able to rid myself of the guilt I learned to live by and start to love myself and live peacefully with myself. I love myself and therefor others can truly love me as well. My last writing was more clear but hey maybe this will start a dialog on the subject. |

The most amazing thing to me is how totally in control your mind is of every situation that you come across in your everyday life. The amount of love that you are able to offer another, the amount that you are able to recieve, is all chosen by your brain. Which, in all honesty, you have total control over. Why not have love in life? Why not find what you are seeking? Why not find the answers that you are looking for? Why keep yourself in mental bondage when all you have to do is say "no"? Why believe that you have to perform a certain way, that you can do not better, that there are things you aren't allowed to have? Why let someone else decide what is right and wrong? http://yourmind.makes.it |
