I don't know if many people agree with me, but i think one of the worst emotions is jealousy. It doesn't start out as something that should be feared, but it leads to worse emotions and actions. It creates a man against man environment. All the individual wants is to out do his fathomed opponent. This is usually brought on by insignificant details in ones life such as money, girls,and other seemingly important parts . This is probably the hardest emotion i have to deal with. Other than this rival i create with everyone,i see no other problems. Any advice on how to change or deal with this would be greatly appreciated. |

There's your answer!!! You said 'other than this rival I create with everyone'...you are creating your own problem and then getting upset at it! Jealousy is an emotion that YOU are having, that YOU created. If you don't want to be jealous, dont be. Realize that life is bigger than the physical plane of existence. An experience is a piece of toast. Put jam on it if you like jam. Or butter if you like that. But for God's sake, dont put shit on it! Why eat shit? What I am saying, is this: your emotions are not embodied in your experience...the experience happens objectively, without emotion, then you perceive that happening/experience, and add your own flavor to it with your emotions...so quit creating jealousy if you dont want it! See someone and be happy for their happiness, be grateful that they are enjoying something, which really means that you are enjoying something, because in actuality, we are all the same...you are me and I am you and we are all ONE. http://godconsciousness.com check out http://godconsciousness.com |
