hi,my name is anne marie bentz.i was born in montreal canada and my father was born in saskatchewan ab. does any part of your web site deal with members of the bentz family that came to live in canada?thanks for your time |

Hi Anne - I cannot help you directly, but I am seeking the following BENTZ family from London, England, who passed through Ellis Island, New York, on October 4, 1895, and may have gone on to Canada:Lavinia Marian BENTZ, aged 43, a widow;Percy Peter BENTZ, aged 16; and,Alice Beatrice BENTZ, aged 15.Any help will be appreciated.Lavinia's unmarried sister, Amy Mary CAFFELL, died in Vancouver, B.C., in 1974, aged 98. |

Take a look at the info on Wilbur Bentz on the web page (http://www-swiss.ai.mit.edu/~bentz/geneal/bentz/wilbur.html); he's the only Canadian one I know of. |

I have very limited information on a Katherine Alice Bentz, born in Beaver City Nebraska, in 1908. Whe was married to my dad's cousin, Oliver Moritz and died in Olds Alberta in 1963 |

more info:my grandparents would have come to canada from germany (to saskatchewan alberta)as far as i know------ grandfather name: jacob bentz (had 14 children).my father s name: philip bentz born in saskatchewan. if anyone has any information or links----thank you |

I am researching the Canadian Bentz's, as my mother was the youngest of 12 Bentz children. My grand-parents, George Bentz & Maria Eva Buscholl, emigrated to Canada in 1912 thru Ellis Island and then to Alberta and then to Saskatchewan. You are a descendant of Phillip, I have an Uncle Phillip b.1917 married Martha Schlosser in 1935. Do you belong to this family of mine. |
