I am searching for information on John Bentzb 6 Mar 1842 GermanyIn a bio on him before he died it said he was from Essex Co NJ and had a daughter Hattie Bentz there.He joined Co H , 12 New Jersewy Infantry as a private, came out as a privateHe married #2 in 1880 in Oregon He filed for a Civil War Pension in Washington state in 1891 and died Oregon in 1905Can anybody tell me anything about his life in New Jersey? Or before or after? |
